Curly Fern 1
Everything started with obsessive drawing of my houseplants. The first one I wanted to zoom in on further was the curly fern or tongue fern.
Step by step I looked for a way to abstract the plant. The stylized forms now suffer their own life. It has gone from a houseplant to a rampant plant. Gracefully the leaves dance through each other.
I try to achieve a mixture by placing complementary colors next to each other. Whereby the image starts to play with our eyes.
