Curly Fern 4
The curly fern or tongue fern, is my muse from 2021.
She is therefore a graceful and agile plant, even when abstracted.
Repeatedly I drew the almost dancing plant, until the form became my own. Time after time I discovered new combinations of colors and shapes, mechanical but also organic.
Orange and green make you look almost cross-eyed as a spectator, but also as a maker. But the fact that it doesn't vibrate and yet you can see this wonderful plant intrigues me.
