  • Cyclus D

"Cyclus D" is a sequel to my film “Cyclus,” an ode to the phases of the moon and their cycle. Inspired by a papier-mâché moon I made for the film. In “Cyclus.” I focus on the emotionally charged details that capture the power and serenity of the moon inspired by personal dreams and historical sources such as the detailed plaster models of the moon from 1874 of James Nashmith. This drawing is a crucial part of my artistic mission to explore the meditative power of the moon.
