Sketchbook autumn
In 2016, graphite and observational drawing was the focus. A valuable exercise in learning how to look and save with the sketchbook as a safe haven. Many of these drawings also got a place in the work 'Greece'.
The sketchbook is like a slow camera. Memories are held on paper with full focus and concentration.The drawings in this series were made on a trip to Greece. An oasis of peace and history. The ideal location for a travelogue.
